"Praying and Preparing for the Promise"

In Acts 1:6–14, we encounter a community in formation, standing between ascension and arrival, promise and power. The restoration of the twelve reveals a commitment to ordered, shared leadership rooted in discernment. The early church does not rush ahead but gathers, prays, and aligns itself with God’s unfolding purpose.
Here, leadership is not self-appointed but Spirit-shaped and cultivated in community, sustained through disciplined prayer, and entrusted with a bold calling: to bear witness in the world. What begins in an upper room becomes a movement marked by courage, freedom, and divine responsibility.
As we gather, we are invited into that same formation to become a praying people, prepared for the work of witness.
We invite you to join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. as we gather in faith and fellowship.
