"From The Mountaintop To The Valley"

This week, we stand with the disciples on the mountain of Transfiguration, where Jesus’ glory is revealed before them. In their fear and awe, Jesus reaches out, touches them, and says, “Get up, and do not be afraid.”

But the disciples cannot remain on the mountain. They must come down.

Like our ancestors who carried vision, dignity, and faith into valleys of injustice, we are reminded that glory is not revealed for comfort, it is a vision that propels us toward mission. The same God who shines on the mountaintop walks with us into the valley.
