Let’s add a little S.A.L.T. (Studying And Learning Together) to our Sunday school lesson through Involvement Learning. This Sunday’s lesson is titled: “Free Because Of The Lord.” The background scripture is taken from Deuteronomy 8. The lesson text is from Deuteronomy 8:1-11.

Our Adult Sunday School lesson for this coming Sunday is centered around the Israelites receiving warnings about being obedient to God.

The special spices and seasonings for this lesson are three Involvement Learning Activities:

Activity One: Paradise

Write down what you think when you see the word “PARADISE.” What images does it call to your mind?What kind of a place is a paradise? Be prepared to share your answers with the class.

Activity Two: Looking Backward/Looking Forward

The second Involvement Activity is to complete the “Looking Backward/Forward.”

Activity Three:

What Do You Think?

And the last Involvement Activity is to share with the class your response to the following question: In what ways do you see that God has brought you into a “good land”?

Digging Deeper

How can you be better satisfied with God’s provision?

Remember If we aren’t Learning then we aren’t Praising the Lord. So, let’s add a lot of S.A.L.T. to the lesson.
